*Disclaimer: Prices do not include fixtures or plugs. There are a few common issues which may affect the price for a job. These include:

  • Your city. Certain cities require extra permitting or higher restrictions for electricians.
  • Attic space. If there is attic space above the area the customer wants to install a new light fixture where there currently is not one.
  • Light fixtures above the stairs require extra effort.
  • True ground in box. If your plug or power source has a true ground in the box, then you can install a three prong plug that requires a ground. If you have a two prong plus and would like to change to three prong, then you also need to install a ground which affects the price.
  • Finished basement. A finished basement may prevent access below the area we are working.
  • Eves for new meter installation. If you are installing a new meter for your home, eves require us to drill through in order to run a conduit through the roof line to gain proper height for electrical service.
  • Trees that are in the way of the electrical line coming through the home pose problems.
